Youth stabbed to death near Hindpidhi Police Station in Ranchi

Ranchi: A youth was knifed to death near Hindpidhi police station in Ranchi Saturday. The site of occurrence is just 200 m away from the Hindpidhi police station in the state capital.

The badly injured youth was rushed to Sadar Hospital Ranchi, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased was identified as Irfan and he lived near Kurban Chowk. Police have taken the main accused into custody and are interrogating him.

Police said that the arrested accused is a minor and has confessed to his crime.

Earlier, Irfan had threatened the minor and they had a running dispute. According to police this is the likely reason due to which the minor allegedly killed him by stabbing.
