Ranchi: 68 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in different parts of Jharkhand on Friday. However, no death due to the pandemic was reported from anywhere. The total death toll remains static at 1,087.
As per official data, 68 new cases have been reported taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,19,863.
On the other hand, 43 patients were also declared cured and were discharged. Total recoveries in the state have now reached 1,18,284.
For now, the state has 467 active cases of coronavirus infection.
Till date, 55,05,786 samples have been tested I the state. Out of these, 1,19,863 have tested positive.
The recovery rate for the state has now reached 98.68%, while the mortality rate hovers around 0.90%.
East Singhbhum district remains the most affected district of the state. However, for the last 41 days, the district has not reported any death.
