JAMSHEDPUR – In a thrilling pre-season match, Jamshedpur FC and Sreenidi Deccan FC battled to a 1-1 draw at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
The home team, Jamshedpur FC, created numerous scoring chances from the beginning of the match.
Rei Tachikawa broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute with a remarkable goal.
The Japanese midfielder capitalized on his own corner kick, which initially deflected off the bar by Muirang.
Tachikawa’s quick reaction allowed him to slot the ball past the Sreenidi Deccan FC goalkeeper.
At halftime, Jamshedpur FC maintained their 1-0 lead despite attempts from both sides.
Sreenidi Deccan FC found an equalizer in the 63rd minute through William’s goal.
Jamshedpur FC intensified their efforts to secure a victory, with Samir Murmu nearly scoring in the 76th minute.
The Sreenidi Deccan FC defense remained resolute, thwarting the home team’s attempts.
Stephen Eze made his debut for Jamshedpur FC, strengthening the Men of Steel’s defensive line.
