16th day of no corona death in Jamshedpur, only 190 active cases in district

Jamshedpur: Happy year-end news for the city of Jamshedpur; There has been no coronavirus-caused death in Jamshedpur on Thursday either.. This was the 16th straight day when nil corona death was reported in the district.

According to official data, the total death toll remains at 374. However, 24 fresh covid-19 cases were detected in East Singhbhum district, taking the total number of infections to 17,408.

On the other hand, on Thursday itself, 30 patients were also cured and discharged. With this, the total number of recoveries in the district has reached 16,844.

The district has tested 4.48,278 samples till date. Out of these 17,408 came positive, while 4,30,870 tested negative.

For now, the district has only 190 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The recovery rate in the district still remains at 97%, while the mortality rate has now come down to 2.1% from 2.2%. Positivity rate too remains at 3.9%.
