Left outfits demonstrate in support of farmers’ agitation

Jamshedpur: Shaheed Smarak Samity, Jharkhand Jantantrik Mahasabha and SUCI held a demonstration at Sakchi Gol Chakkar in support of farmers’ protests against farm laws.

After the demonstration, a delegation of the three outfits also submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of the country.

The memorandum asks the Centre to hold unconditional talks with the farmers, scrap farm laws, bring in new laws for guaranteeing MSP, not exceeding onion, tomato, cauliflower, pulses and potato from essential commodities list and fixing prices for agricultural commodities.

Those who were a part of the demonstration included Sohan Mahato, Sunil Hembrom, Babu Nag, Krishna Lohar, Deepak Ranjit, Sumit Roy and several others.
