Firing in Jugsalai, one injured

Jamshedpur: At least eight rounds of bullets were fired today at around 8.45 at night near Gaushala Chowk. The attacker reportedly wanted to target one Ram Narayan Singh, a resident of that area. However, his son Bunty was injured in the firing.

The firing incident today came close on the heels of an attack on Lochan Mangotia, a relative of Laddu Mangotia, the businessman who is now in jail in connection with Alcor Hotel case. Locahn Mangotia was attacked yesterday with a sharp weapon by one person, who was nabbed immediately and is now in police custody.

The firing incident in Jugsalai today has caused fear in the area. The police have reached the place of occurrence and are investigating the incident.

The injured person has been rushed to TMH for treatment.
