JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant breakthrough, police apprehended two brothers for their involvement in a shooting in Jugsalai, recovering the weapon used in the attack.

The ongoing investigation is scrutinizing the father’s role, whose involvement remains uncertain.

Sarfraz’s ordeal began when he was falsely held at Afzal’s residence, escalating tensions between the two parties.

A surprising turn in the investigation uncovered Afzal’s suspected involvement in the theft of FCI grains, leading to a police raid at his home.

The conflict allegedly stemmed from accusations of illicit drug sales, according to a complaint filed by Afzal’s wife against the brothers and their father.

SSP Kishore Kaushal disclosed these details, including the retrieval of a cartridge shell from the crime scene, underscoring the severity of the incident.

The arrest of Md Hasan and Md Sarfraz, alias Tilli, followed a police operation guided by leads from the accused themselves.
