Buoyed with Bihar performance, AIMIM focusing Jharkhand now

Jamshedpur: Buoyed by its spectacular performance in the recently held Bihar Assembly elections, AIMIM is now targeting oncoming Assembly elections in West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the Jharkhand unit of the party has been dissolved and the process of revamping it has begun in right earnest.

A meeting of the persons in-charge of five divisional units of the state was held on Saturday in Jamshedpur. The meeting agreed to revamp and reform the state unit of the party.

Later, the party in-charge for Chhotanagpur Md. Rafi said that the party plans to play an important role in Jharkhand too in the coming days. He said that the party has already begun the ground work for this.

He said that all the parties have got a chance to rule the state, but all of them only deceived the minorities, Dalits and tribals.

He said that in the given circumstances, their party would focus on the interests of Dalits, tribals and minorities and would start preparing for the next Assembly elections in Jharkhand too.
