Corona in Jharkhand on Wednesday: 4 deaths, 345 new cases, 452 cured

Total deaths 880, total infections 1,00,569, active now 5,363

Ranchi: Coronavirus pandemic seems to be slowing down a bit in Jharkhand. On Wednesday, the number of deaths caused by Covid-19 came down to 4providing some relief to the health officials. The total death toll due to coronavirus in the state has reached 880, however.

According to official data, on Wednesday, 4 persons have succumbed to the virus. On the other hand, 345 new cases were also detected across the state, while 452 patients were also cured and discharged from different districts of the state.

The state has tested a total of 31,93,717 samples till Wednesday. Out of these, 1,00,569 samples have tested positive.

For now, the state has 5,363 active cases of coronavirus infection, while 94,326 patients have already been cured and discharged in the state.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district of the state. However, on Wednesday, no death due to coronavirus was reported from East Singhbhum.
