Boy and girl elope from Kanu Bhattha in Sidhgora, girl’s family creates ruckus

Jamshedpur: A boy and a girl have reportedly eloped in Kanu Bhattha under the jurisdiction of Sidhgora police station causing a lot of problems for the two families.

The family members of the girl allegedly reached the house of the boy and created ruckus and also vandalised the household items. They also allegedly assaulted and misbehaved with the women of the boy’s family.

The police were informed about the incident and they arrived at the site of occurrence. But, before their arrival the family members of the girl had left the place.

According to police sources, a youth named Abhimanyu has eloped with his girl friend.

The girl’s family claims that the boy’s family also helped in the elopement of the two. But, the boy’s family members deny that they had any knowledge about their relations or elopement. They have also sought protection from the police apprehending problems for themselves as well as the boy.
