One more arrest in Dhatkidih firing case, sent to judicial custody

Police still looking for Salman, leader of Mardana gang

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur police has arrested one more member of Mardana gang on Friday for being involved in Dhatkidih firing case.

According to police sources, the accused arrested and sent to judicial custody on Monday has been named as Zeeshan alias Zishu.

The CCR Dy SP said that the police were looking for Zeeshan in connection with Dhatkidih firing case of October 5 last under jurisdiction of Bistupur police station area.

The accused arrested today has criminal antecedents and has been named in several criminal cases registered by Golmuri police station.

Two days back the police had arrested two accused in the Dhatkidih firing case and had sent them to judicial custody too.

The kingpin of Mardana gang and the main accused in Dhatkidih firing case – Salman – is still out of reach of police. Police are working hard to arrest him.
