BJP delegation demands arrests in Dashrath Singh suicide case

Jamshedpur: A delegation of BJP today arrived at district police headquarters and met the SSP M Tamil Vanan. The delegation also submitted a memorandum of demands to him and urged him to arrest all the five accused named in the FIR registered on the basis of the suicide note of late BJP leader Dashrath Singh.

The delegation said that after Dashrath Singh’s suicide a suicide note written by him was found based on which his brother Yashwant Singh had filed an FIR on September 30 with Musaboni police station.

However, the BJP leaders alleged, no named accused has been arrested yet in the case raising doubts on the style of functioning of the police.

The delegation requested the SSP to ensure that all the accused named in the FIR are arrested without further delay.
