Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan takes out foot march to pay homage to Gandhi
Jamshedpur: On the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan took out a foot march from Ambedkar Kuti Sakchi to Gandhi Ghat at mango. The participants vowed to make an equalitarian society.
All the participants of the foot march were carrying banners and placards with different slogans opposing crime against women and appealing to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and Ambedkar.
The convenor of Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan Arvind Anjum said on the occasion that both Gandhi and Ambedkar were for making an equalitarian society in their own way. He also condemned the rape incidents in UP and Rajasthan and said that everyone in the society would have to fight such crimes.
