Education Minister gets admitted in Class XI, resumes education at 53
Ranchi: The Education Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Jagarnath Mahato will resume his studies at the age of 53. He has taken admission in Class XI in Devi Mahato Inter College of Nawadih in Bokaro.
The Education Minister Jagarnath Mahato had quit his studies in 1995 after completing his matriculation.
Now, he has got himself re-admitted in the intermediate to continue higher studies.
The principal of the college, Mr. Dinesh Prasad Burnawal, himself got the Education Minister registered in the arts faculty of the college.
The Minister filled up the admission form in the college office and also paid Rs. 1100 as the fee.
Later, the Education Minister said that he would continue attending classes and at the same time would also continue to oversee his work in the ministry.
He added that he would also remain engaged in farming, so that others too can get inspired by his hard work.
