Corona takes 4 lives in Jamshedpur on Sunday, 125 new cases
60 patients cured and discharged too
Jamshedpur: Corona has taken 4 lives in Jamshedpur on Sunday taking the death toll for the city to 71. On the other hand, 125 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in the city too.
According to health department communique, 125 fresh cases have been confirmed in the city, while 60 Covid-19 patients were cured and discharged from hospitals.
On Sunday too Corona did not spare the city with deaths. It took four lives again. Two died of Corona in the morning, while two in the afternoon.
The two persons who died Sunday morning include one 54-year-old resident of Old Purulia Road, Mango. He was admitted with high fever and breathing problems on August 3, 2020 in TMH. He succumbed to complications Sunday morning. He had a few co-morbidities too.
The other person who died of Corona included a 69-year-old resident of Dhatkidih Harijan Bustee.
He too was admitted in TMH with fever and breathing difficulties on August 7. He died Sunday morning.
Even on Saturday, 7 from the city and one person from Ramgarh had died.
Till Sunday noon, the total death toll or the city was 71 including the two who died on Sunday.
In all, 74 persons have died in TMH, but this figure includes patient from Ramgarh, Dhanbad, West Singh and Seraikela-Kharsawan and a few other districts too. The recovery rate for TMH is 63%.
