Corona takes 6 more lives in Jamshedpur on Friday, total deaths now 62

108 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday

Jamshedpur: Corona fury has taken Jamshedpur by storm. The virus killed 6 more people again in the city taking the total death toll for the city to 62.

According to information received, Covid-19 related complications have killed 6 more people in the city. A 65-year-old woman from Sonari died in the morning.

The girl, whose dead body was recovered from Dhatkidih Pond, too has been found Covid-19 positive.

5 other persons too have died of Corona. These include a 66-year-old man from Jugsalai, another 72-year-old man from Jugsalai, one 48-year-old woman from Sakchi, a 52-year-old man from Kashidih and a 46-year-old man from Ranikudar.

6 more deaths in one day once again has sent a wave of concern through the bureaucratic machinery.

It is obvious now that the community transmission phase has started in the city in true sense.

Meanwhile, 108 new Covid-19 cases were also found in the city on Friday.

The district administration has appealed to the people to continue maintaining social distancing.
