BJP City President questions state govt’s efforts on Corona

Jamshedpur: BJP has questioned the efforts of Hemant Soren led UPA government in Jharkhand to contain Corona in the state.

In a press conference held at the BJP office in Jamshedpur, the City President of the party Gunjan Yadav said that the government is checking helmets more than testing for Corona.

He said that the government should have conducted more tests and after identifying more infected persons they should have been treated properly.

He said that this is the only known and available method to control spread of Corona.

Gunjan Yadav said that the government has left the people to their fate.

He also criticised the arrangements at quarantine centres and said that teh people living there are neither getting food on time, nor is there any arrangement for power supply. There is also no arrangement for house-keeping at quarantine centres, he said.

He said that the people are facing a lot of problems, while the government is busy biding away time.

Ganjan Yadav also said that this is the home district of health minister Banna Gupta. Despite this, he said, there are not enough beds for Corona patients. Yet, he charged, the health minister is busy talking big.

He said that the health minister should first make arrangements for beds in the hospitals. He said that the tests being carried out by the private labs is very costly. Their charges too should be controlled.
