PLFI puts up banner on Ranchi-Khunti Route, warns crusher, mines operators

Jamshedpur: The left-extremist organisation PLFI last night put up red banners in the forests near Taurian World School off Ranchi-Khunti Road.

The banner has warned the operators of mines and crushers in the area to not operate without the permission of the organisation.

The banners have caused a sense of fear among the people living in the area.

The police have removed the banners and are investigating the matter.

The area has been a hotbed of naxal organisations and PLFI has been dominant among them for years.

In 2017, a Rs. 5 lakh ransom was sought from the owners of Taurian School.

An encounter between PLFI and police team had also taken place.
