156 new Covid-19 positive cases in Jharkhand, total now 3518, active 1271

Ranchi: 156 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in Jharkhand on Friday. This takes the total infections in the state to 3518. However, 2224 people have recovered in the state, and therefore the number of active cases now is only 1271.

On Friday, 14 patients have also been cured and discharged from hospitals in different parts of the state.

In all, 1,72,032 samples have been tested in the state, out of which only 3518 people have tested positive.

Yesterday, one more person had died in Jharkhand due to Covid-19 taking the death toll in the state due to this disease to 23.

The number of Corona patients has been on the rise in the state. East Singhbhum has maximum number of total cases at 628. On Friday, 22 new cases have been found in East Singhbhum.

On Wednesday, 78 new Covid-19 positive cases were found in Jharkhand.

Seeing the rise in the numbers, several districts have started imposing curbs on activities to slow down the spread of the disease.
