Ranchi: The health minister of Jharkhand, Banna Gupta, is not well these days. He has been facing health related difficulties due to hernia. He has been admitted in RIMS for hernia operation.
Sources said that the health minister has chosen RIMS over other private hospitals of the state. He has been in touch with RIMS doctor since Tuesday.
A paying ward room was prepared for him. He got admitted in RIMS Wednesday morning.
The personal secretary of the minister Sanjay Thakur said that he has undergone different tests. Test reports are still awaited. He will undergo surgery if all reports are okay.
He said that the surgery would be conducted by Dr. Sheetal Malua and his team. Preparations are on for that.
