Six new Corona positive cases in East Singhbhum, total now 276

Jamshedpur: Five new persons have tested positive for Corona on Wednesday in East Singhbhum district. This has taken the total Covid-19 infected tally to 270 in the district.

Out of these five fresh cases, three have a travel history to Delhi, one to Mumbai and one of Kerala and they were already kept under quarantine.

Of these five patients, three are from Musabani and one each from Ghatshila, Golmuri and Zakir Nagar.

All these six new patients are being admitted in the Covid wards.

Meanwhile, 9 persons have also been cured and released from the TMH Covid-19 ward. Out of these two are from Dumaria and one each from Chakulia, Sitaramdera, Dhalbhumgarh, Patamda, Sonari and Azadnagar.

The district administration has again reiterated its appeal to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to thwart the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
