Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant’s Holiday Schedule Altered

Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur facility adjusts weekly Holiday plans to accommodate production pace; Sunday holiday moved to Monday, August 14.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Motors facility in Jamshedpur will be fully operational on Sunday and then on Wednesday, August 16, after two days’ holidays on Monday and Tuesday.

As a result of the changes to the schedule, both Monday and Tuesday, August 14 and 15, will be observed as holidays at the plant.

In honor of Independence Day, a paid holiday will be granted on Tuesday, August 15.

The factory has also declared a holiday for Monday, August 14, shifting it from the originally planned Sunday, August 13.

The notification sent out by the factory manager on Friday announced the cancellation of the Sunday holiday, adjusting it to the following Monday and citing the current pace of production and labor volume as the reasons.

On Sunday, all departments at the Jamshedpur Plant will continue to operate as per the normal routine.
