Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Red Pubs Rescue Foundation has come to the rescue of street dogs as well as the common citizenry of Jamshedpur who are scared of venturing out on the streets at night.
The Foundation is working on a mission to vaccinate street dogs of the city against Rabies, so that they pose no threat to the citizens of Jamshedpur.
The activists of the Foundation has taken it up to vaccinate the stray dogs moving around on the streets.
On Sunday, the Foundation vaccinated around 100 stray dogs in different areas of the city, including Sonari, Kadma, Bistupur, Tinplate, Baridih and Northern Town.
The Foundation says that the campaign will continue.
The dogs which are vaccinated are also being tagged, so that if the victim of their bite know that they do not have to fear anti-rabies.
The Foundation has also issued a helpline number.
