JAMSHEDPUR – Schools across Jamshedpur reopened on Monday after a summer vacation of nearly one month, with students returning to their classrooms and campuses coming alive with activity and cheer.

From the morning hours, Jamshedpur school premises were filled with the bustle of children arriving after the long break. Students were visibly excited to reunite with their friends and teachers after the extended holiday period.

However, the return to school coincided with a spell of intense heat and high humidity, causing some discomfort to the children. Several students said they would have welcomed a few more days of vacation to get relief from the scorching weather conditions. Meanwhile, parents expressed concern over their children’s health given the rising temperatures in the city.

With the reopening, academic activities for the new term got underway. Teachers welcomed the students back and began preparations for the fresh session’s curriculum and coursework.
