Kanishk gets 43rd rank in UPSC Finals, Abhinav 360th

Kanishk of Jamshedpur and Abhinav of Chaibasa have been successful in UPSC Finals this year. Both brought laurels to Kolhan with their hard work and determination.

Jamshedpur: Kanishk of Jamshedpur secured 43rd rank in UPSC Finals, while Abhinav of Chaibasa secured 360th rank. Both have brought laurels to Kolhan division with their performance in the most competitive examination of the country.

Kanishk has been a student of Jamshedpur Loyola School and is son of retired Tata Steel officer Prabhat Sharma. He secured 43rd rank in the country in the UPSC final examination.

On the other hand Abhinav of Chaibasa has secured 360th rank.

Kanishk is an engineer from BITS Pilani. He worked in the corporate sector briefly and currently is posted as ACP in Delhi Police.

Kanishk’s father Prabhat Sharma is a retired Tata Steel officer.

Kanishk, a student of Jamshedpur Loyola School and son of retired Tata Steel officer Prabhat Sharma, has secured 43rd rank in the country in the UPSC final examination.

He was in the waiting list in the year 2020 examination. Presently he is posted as ACP in Delhi Police. In the examination of the year 2019, the reserve list of UPSC was published last year, in which Kanishk was ranked 36th.

On the basis of this, he got UT cadre and at present he is Assistant Commissioner in Delhi Police.

Kanishk’s father was a Corporate Communications executive at Tata Steel. He later took over as the administrative head of Tata Steel’s Angul plant. Kanishk’s cousin Karan Satyarthi is also an IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre.

On the other hand, Abhinav Kumar, who lives in the big market of Chaibasa, has also brought laurels to Chaibasa. He cleared UPSC for the second time. First time, he had got revenue service.

He studied in Saint Xavier’s School in Chaibasa and did his 12th from DAV School in Ranchi. Due to financial constraints, he had to prepare while being in a job.

Abhinav was preparing after completing his Electrical Engineering from NIT, Kurukshetra Haryana in 2016 working as Investment Banker in Mumbai from 2016 onwards.

Abhinav aspires to serve in Jharkhand. Abhinav Kumar, 24, has achieved success in the second attempt. He got 472th rank in the UPSC exam of 2019. Abhinav Kumar is currently training with Indian Revenue Service.

Abhinav’s father runs a cycle shop in Chaibasa Zilla Parishad Market.
