No bail to accused in Sanky Yadav murder case

Jamshedpur: The bail plea of the accused in Sanky Yadav murder case has been rejected by the court of Additional District Judge in Jamshedpur.

The bail plea was filed by the accused Rajesh Singh in the Sanky Yadav murder case. He has been lodged in jail since after his arrest in the wake of murder of Sanky Yadav.

During the hearing of the bail plea, the court of ADJ Sheshnath Singh rejected the bail petition of the accused.

Six persons were arrested and are in jail in this case.

Sanky Yadav was killed last October 1 in a brutal manner. His head was also crushed first with a stone and later with a car.

Within a few days of the murder Jamshedpur police had solved the murder case. Sanky Yadav was killed in Ulidih area, while his crushed body was found near Kharia Bustee.

According to police, Rajesh Singh had an old enmity with Sanky Yadav and old enmity was the reason why they killed Sanky Yadav.

According to police, the dead body of Sanky Yadav was found near Kharia Bustee. The body had four bullet wounds and seemed to have been crushed with stones too. He was also accused in a case relating to firing at BJP leader Rajesh Singh’s house.

It may be added that several cases of firing and extortion were registered in different police stations of the city against Sanky Yadav. He had earlier been externed from the district too. In October 2019, he was also sent to jail by the police. He was released from the jail only a few months back.

Police carried out an intense investigation based on the statement of Sanky Yadav’s family.
