Potka: Sanskar Bharati, a social and cultural organisation of the city, has felicitated the Headmaster of Tangrain Upgraded Middle School of Potka, Arbind Tiwary, on Guru Purnima for his devotion to teaching and all round development of the children studying in his school, which is situated in an underdeveloped and remote area of Potka.
The school has made a mark on different fronts and is well-known for its unique initiatives in the field of education. It organises training sessions for swimming training, archery, drama, nutrition even while continuing the academic activities in the school.
The middle school is known for its programs related to gardening, chess, scout and guide training, yoga workshop, language training center, arrangement of tours for school students, computer education, Taekwondo training, etc.
Seeing the dedication of the headmaster, Sanskar Bharti felicitated honored him in the school.
Secretary of Sanskar Bharati Vijay Bhushan, president Dr. Juhi Samarpita, Dr. Ragini Bhushan, Krishna Sinha, Shakuntala Pathak, Dr. Poonam Sahai, Arun Jha, Devvrat Banerjee, Purvi Ghosh and Ujjwal Kumar Mandal of Village Education Committee of the village as well as students of the school were present on the occasion.
A tree plantation programme was also held on the occasion as the guests planted trees on the school premises.
