JAMSHEDPUR – Raksha-Sutra, a new organization focusing on road safety and environmental protection, formed at Hindu Peeth.
The executive committee elected its leadership team. “We’ll work to protect human lives and environment,” Jyotsna Sarkar said.
Road Safety Focus
The organization will promote helmet and seatbelt usage. Meanwhile, they plan campaigns against drunk driving.
Special focus will target young drivers. However, initiatives will cover all road users.
Environmental Goals
Tree protection forms another key objective. “We’ll work to preserve neem and banyan trees,” an official explained.
The organization plans school outreach programs. Moreover, they will emphasize responsible driving among youth.
