Kharaswan MLA Dashrath Gagrai Reiterates Loyalty to Shibu Soren

Amid political turbulence, MLA Dashrath Gagrai affirms commitment to JMM; denies joining BJP.

Kharaswan MLA Dashrath Gagrai declared his unwavering support for Dishom Guru Shibu Soren during a foundation stone-laying ceremony at a government school in Kolabira, Gamahria Block, Seraikela district.

JAMSHEDPUR – Kharaswan MLA Dashrath Gagrai firmly stated his loyalty to Shibu Soren, rejecting rumors of joining the BJP during a ceremony in Kolabira.

While attending the event with his wife, Basanti Gagrai, the MLA responded strongly to speculations about switching parties.

He emphasized that the idea of changing political allegiances is akin to betraying voters, stating, "We will eat half a roti, but we will uphold the honor of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren."

Gagrai reminded the public that he was elected by the people of Kharaswan, who chose him over prominent figures like Arjun Munda, and their trust is paramount.

Amid the chaos in Jharkhand’s political scene, particularly regarding former Chief Minister Champai Soren’s rumored BJP affiliation, Gagrai clarified his stance.

He refuted claims that he was in Delhi with Champai Soren, saying, "I am present here, facing the media. There is no question of joining the BJP."

Gagrai further expressed his deep gratitude to the people of Kharaswan for their overwhelming love and support since 2014, assuring them that he would not betray their trust.
