Leakage in supply pipeline causing huge wastage of water at Govindpur

Jamshedpur: Crime Check Organisation has urged the Public Health & Engineering Department SDO to ensure that the pipe leakage in the water supply line between Gadra Main Road to Govindpur Main road is plugged immediately and wastage of potable water is stopped.

The district president of Crime Check Organisation Rajesh Samant said that they have spoken to the PHED SDO and urged him to take immediate action in this regard. He said that water is flowing on the road due to leakage in pipeline and water logging is also being caused. He said that the commuters have to face a lot of problems in negotiating water logging due to pipe leakage and minor accidents too are being caused.

He said that the MLA and MP of the area too are aware of the problem. Despite this, nothing has been done to take corrective action.

He said that the PHED SDO has said that tender timeline is causing delay in work.
