Heatwave Strikes Kolhan; Godda Hits 38.9°C

Temperatures soar in Jharkhand, with potential thunderstorms forecasted.

Jharkhand experiences sharp temperature rise, with more heat expected.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand, including the Kolhan region, faced intense heat on Friday, causing a notable increase in temperatures.

Godda district recorded the highest temperature at 38.9 degrees Celsius, marking it as the hottest area.

In Kolhan, Jamshedpur saw temperatures reach 35.4 degrees, while West Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharsawan recorded 32.5 and 35.7 degrees respectively.

The Meteorological Department predicts continued strong sunshine with potential drizzles in some districts until April 14.

Meteorologist Dr. Abhishek Anand has alerted residents to possible thunderstorms and rain in several districts on Saturday.

Expected rainfall areas include Garhwa, Palamu, and several others, accompanied by strong winds.
