Jamshedpur: The district administration is fully active regarding the proposed arrival of Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar to Jamshedpur on June 1. In this sequence, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan inspected the Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) campus located in Baridih on Sunday and reviewed the preparations in detail.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of all the necessary preparations at the venue including law and order, security, traffic management, guard of honour, parking, entry and exit arrangements. He gave necessary directions to the concerned officers and directed them to complete all the arrangements on time.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the Governor’s visit is extremely important, hence all departments should ensure discharge of their responsibilities with mutual coordination. He laid special emphasis on maintaining strong security arrangements, ensuring smooth movement of visitors and maintaining orderly traffic operations.
He directed to complete all the arrangements within the predetermined time limit to avoid any kind of inconvenience during the program. Also asked the police and administrative officials to ensure all arrangements as per the security standards.
During the review, preparations for the guard of honour, VVIP movement route, barricading, parking lot, control room, medical facilities, drinking water, electricity supply and sanitation arrangements were also inspected. On this occasion, officials of various departments including Superintendent of Police, City, Sub-Divisional Officer Dhalbhum, ADM Law and Order, Deputy Municipal Commissioner JNAC, DSP Traffic were present.
