Colleague Attacks Dinesh Munda With Iron Tool Over Dispute

GAMHARIA – A workplace dispute turned fatal at Cross Limited company in Gamharia. Dinesh Munda died after colleague’s violent attack Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 8 PM at Plot-5. Munda had reported for duty at 6 PM. However, personal disagreement escalated rapidly between workers.

Initial argument remained verbal between both parties. Suddenly, the situation turned violent unexpectedly. Moreover, anger overtook rational behavior completely.

One worker grabbed a heavy iron tool nearby. He struck Munda’s head with tremendous force. The attack proved immediately catastrophic for the victim.

Munda collapsed bleeding profusely at the spot. He lost consciousness within moments. In addition, coworkers witnessed the horrifying assault.

Panic spread throughout the company premises instantly. Fellow workers rushed to help immediately. Meanwhile, emergency medical assistance became a crucial priority.

Colleagues transported the injured worker to Tata Main Hospital urgently. Doctors examined him upon arrival thoroughly. However, medical staff declared him dead.

Gamharia police station in-charge Ramchandra Rajak responded promptly. Officers reached the crime scene quickly. Furthermore, investigation commenced immediately thereafter.

Initial probe suggests interpersonal conflict between workers. Police detained the accused Munna Pradhan swiftly. Interrogation continues at the police station currently.

Authorities will send Pradhan to judicial custody. Legal proceedings will follow investigation completion. On the other hand, strict action awaits the accused.

The company is located at Usha More. It falls under Seraikela-Kharsawan district jurisdiction. Cross Limited operates in industrial area.

Workers express fear and anger following the incident. They criticized inadequate security arrangements strongly. Besides, surveillance systems require urgent improvements.

Employees demand stronger workplace safety protocols. Management must ensure worker protection better. In addition, preventive measures need implementation.

Violence marred public meetings in Seraikela previously. Earlier, political workers clashed during election campaigns locally. Additionally, domestic violence incidents shocked the district. The region also witnessed fatal shooting of para-teacher recently. Furthermore, shooting incidents occurred in nearby Adityapur area.
