Seraikela District Admin Inspects Route for President Murmu’s NIT Visit

Officials Conduct Four-Kilometer Foot March from Akashvani Chowk to DAV Gate

SERAIKELA – District administration remains on high alert for President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming visit to NIT Jamshedpur.

The President will attend the 15th convocation ceremony on December 29. The event takes place at the institute in Adityapur. Moreover, preparations intensify as the date approaches.

Deputy Commissioner Nitish Kumar Singh led the inspection on Monday. Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat accompanied him. However, officials conducted a four-kilometer foot march.

The march started from Akashvani Chowk. It concluded at DAV Gate covering the presidential route. In addition, officials reviewed all security points meticulously.

The team inspected the probable arrival route thoroughly. Security arrangements were examined at multiple locations. Meanwhile, officials identified potential vulnerability points along the way.

DC and SP reached NIT campus after the march. They marked the convocation ceremony venue within the premises. Furthermore, the gymnasium building was inspected for the event.

The gymnasium building was found relatively small. Officials then inspected an open ground within the campus. Besides, detailed discussions occurred with NIT management representatives.

Deputy Commissioner Nitish Kumar Singh briefed about the inspection. “We have examined the route and program venue,” he stated. Moreover, security arrangements are being strengthened in time.

The municipal corporation received specific instructions from administration. Complete cleanliness must be ensured before the event. However, the entire area requires thorough cleaning operations.

Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat addressed security concerns. “We have thoroughly assessed security arrangements,” he said. In addition, probable routes were inspected comprehensively.

Force deployment plans were reviewed during the inspection. Other security measures were discussed with senior officials. Meanwhile, all security standards will be met before arrival.

DC and SP continuously guided officers during the march. They issued necessary directions to administrative personnel. Furthermore, police officials received specific security instructions.

Director Gautam Sutradhar attended the inspection from NIT. SDO Nivedita Niyati participated in the exercise. However, DDC and SDPO Sameer Savaya joined the team.

Municipal Corporation Administrator Ravi Prakash was present. Deputy Municipal Commissioner Parul Singh attended the inspection. Moreover, Circle Officer Praveen Kumar joined the officials.

Adityapur police station in-charge Vinod Tirkey participated actively. Numerous administrative officers accompanied the inspection team. In addition, police personnel remained deployed throughout the route.

NIT Jamshedpur prepares extensively for the convocation ceremony. The institute’s management coordinates closely with district administration. Besides, venue arrangements progress according to schedule.

The 15th convocation marks a significant milestone for NIT. Graduate students will receive degrees from the President. However, elaborate security protocols govern presidential visits nationwide.

District administration ensures foolproof security arrangements comprehensively. All stakeholders work in coordination for smooth execution. Meanwhile, preparations continue across multiple departments simultaneously.
