Dhobi Mahasangh Organizes Candlelight March on Ambedkar’s Death Anniversary

Procession Moves from Sakchi Roundabout to Ambedkar Chowk

JAMSHEDPUR – Akhil Bharatiya Dhobi Mahasangh East Singhbhum organized a candlelight march today. The procession commemorated Dr. BR Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Divas on December 6.

The march commenced from Sakchi roundabout in evening hours. Participants carried candles through main roads toward destination point. Moreover, the procession concluded at Ambedkar Chowk near Old Court.

Participants offered floral tributes at Ambedkar’s statue respectfully. A public gathering followed the wreath-laying ceremony immediately. Furthermore, speakers addressed assembled crowds about social equality importance.

National General Secretary Sharada Devi addressed the gathering prominently. She also serves as RJD State Vice President currently. However, her speech emphasized equality and justice principles strongly.

East Singhbhum President Gopal Rajak participated in the program. Treasurer Arun Chaudhary attended the commemorative event alongside colleagues. In addition, Syed Nirujama joined other organizational leaders present.

Bodhi Society Secretary Sunil Bimal spoke about Ambedkar’s contributions. Sant Gadge Jagriti Manch President Upendra Rajak addressed participants. Moreover, Kavichand Rajak and Nandlal Lal Rajak shared their perspectives.

Amar Lal and Amalesh Rajak joined other speakers onstage. “December 6, 2025 marks Mahaparinirvan Divas,” leaders reminded audiences. Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to equality and empowerment.

“His struggle against social inequality inspires us continuously,” speakers emphasized. The visionary leader fought for fair and inclusive society. Furthermore, his constitutional contributions transformed India’s democratic framework fundamentally.

“We must commit ourselves to realizing his vision,” Sharada Devi stated. Social justice remains incomplete without sustained collective effort regularly. However, Ambedkar’s teachings guide contemporary equality movements across nation.

Hundreds of community members participated in the candlelight procession. Amalesh Kumar, Subhash Rajak, Vinay Rajak attended the gathering. On the other hand, Abhay Kumar and Durga Ram Baitha marched.

Birendra Rajak, Amarlal Rajak, Tinku Rajak joined the tribute program. Raju Rajak, Senti Rajak, Rajendra Rajak participated with enthusiasm. In addition, Sunil and Vimal contributed to organizing efforts.

Surendra Rajak, Saroj, Syed Nurujama attended the memorial event. Satish Chandra Rajak, Dolly Rajak, Babli Rajak participated actively. Moreover, Jyoti, Maria, Poonam Baitha joined women participants prominently.

Ashok Rajak, Saudagar Rajak, Suraj marched in the procession. Sanjay, Suresh, Kamta Rajak walked alongside fellow community members. Furthermore, Manoj Rajak and Madan Rajak completed the participant list.

The event demonstrated community solidarity around Ambedkar’s legacy strongly. Social organizations continue working toward equality principles he championed. However, challenges persist in achieving complete social transformation nationwide.

The candlelight march symbolized hope and determination for justice. Participants reaffirmed commitment to constitutional values he enshrined carefully. In addition, younger generations learned about his revolutionary contributions tonight.

East Singhbhum witnessed significant participation in memorial activities today. Multiple organizations collaborated for successful commemoration of the occasion. Moreover, the peaceful procession reflected respect for Ambedkar’s peaceful struggle.
