JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur FC youth teams from Tata Football Academy spent an activity-filled day at the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation Centre, Dimna Lake, to strengthen coordination and team bonding before the AIFF Youth League.

The event included leadership tasks, communication drills, and group challenges. However, it also helped improve trust and morale among the young footballers. On the other hand, it built a family-like atmosphere before the new season.

Meanwhile, midfielder Sourav Das has extended his contract with Jamshedpur FC for two more years. The deal will keep him at the club until the end of the 2026–27 season. Besides, Sourav is a Tata Football Academy graduate and a vital part of Jamshedpur’s 2024–25 campaign that saw the team reach the Indian Super League semifinals and finish runners-up in the Super Cup.

A team source said the extension reflects confidence in his consistency and leadership. The move ensures midfield stability under Head Coach Steven Dias as the club strengthens its core group.

In another development, Cameroonian forward Raphaël Messi Bouli has joined Jamshedpur FC ahead of the Super Cup. The striker has expressed excitement about returning to Indian football and aims to contribute significantly to the upcoming 2025–26 season. Moreover, his inclusion is seen as a boost to Jamshedpur’s attacking lineup.

According to club insiders, preparations for the Super Cup are in full swing under Steven Dias’s supervision. The focus remains on blending youth enthusiasm with experienced players for a competitive season ahead.
