JAMSHEDPUR – A late-night commotion broke out on the main road near Tata Nagar Railway Station on Sunday when a middle-aged woman began beating a young man in full public view.

The bizarre incident continued for nearly 20 minutes, drawing the attention of passersby. Both individuals were reportedly under the influence of alcohol. The woman alleged that the youth had stolen her mobile phone. However, the young man denied the accusation, claiming that another person accompanying him had taken the woman’s phone.

Witnesses said the argument turned into a scuffle before both individuals abruptly left the spot, ending the high-voltage street drama. No police complaint had been filed until late night, according to sources.
