Security Forces Launch Search Operations in Dense Forests

SERAIKELA – A statewide high alert was issued after the Maoist incident in Palamu, leading to intensified operations in Seraikela-Kharsawan.
The state police headquarters circulated the alert to all districts. Following this, the Superintendent of Police directed security action in Seraikela-Kharsawan.
Police and SSB personnel began a joint search in the thick forests on Thursday. The operation was initiated under the orders of the Director General of Police.
However, heavy rain made the task difficult. Still, the morale of the personnel remained high. Security forces actively scouted for Maoist and PLFI bases across the region.
According to the forces, the aim was to ensure peace and maintain security. Moreover, presence in several sensitive areas of the district was increased.
Local residents were also requested to extend cooperation during the campaign. Meanwhile, officials confirmed that vigilance in remote areas had been tightened.
