RANCHI – A crucial workshop addressing One Stop Centers’ challenges convened at Hotel BNR Chanakya.

YUVA organized the event with Kriya, New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji attended as chief guest.

Meanwhile, ADG Suman Gupta participated as special guest. She heads the Women’s Cell.

Operational Challenges

Most centers lack round-the-clock operation. Only five districts maintain 24/7 service.

Moreover, Jamshedpur’s center faces accessibility issues. Located on third floor, it lacks elevator facilities.

Infrastructure Issues

Representatives reported severe staffing shortages. Many centers struggle with inadequate infrastructure.

Furthermore, police response remains unsatisfactory. Centers need better coordination with law enforcement.

Official Response

ADG Gupta acknowledged coordination gaps with police. She emphasized improving center accessibility.

Meanwhile, MP Maji promised parliamentary action. She will pursue increased funding for facilities.
