Adityapur Police Arrest Three in Ratan Gorai Murder Case

Police in Adityapur crack the murder case of Ratan Gorai, arresting his wife and her alleged lover along with an accomplice for their role in the crime.

SERAIKELA – Adityapur police have solved the murder case of Ratan Gorai, arresting his wife Monika Gorai, her alleged lover Raju Dey, and an accomplice.

Love Affair Leads to Murder

According to SDPO Sameer Savaiya, Monika Gorai and Raju Dey conspired to eliminate Ratan Gorai. On the night of January 25, Raju, with the help of Rahul Tiwari alias Golu, executed the murder. The victim was made to consume alcohol before being stabbed and later crushed with a stone.

Key Evidence Seized

During the investigation, police recovered a blood-stained knife, an orange scarf used to strangle the victim, six beer cans, broken mobile phones, and a Hero motorcycle used in the crime. These findings confirmed the involvement of the arrested suspects.

Police Team Behind the Investigation

Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police, a special team was formed to crack the case. The team included Station In-charge Rajiv Kumar Singh, Sub-Inspectors Ravikant Parashar, Suresh Ram, Vinod Tudu, Sudhanshu Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Sama Susari Lakra, along with armed police personnel.
