JAMSHEDPUR – Former Indian cricketer Saurabh Tiwari motivated students at Vikas Vidyalaya’s annual sports function held at JRD Complex.
Special guest Kunal Sarangi shared insights about sports careers. Meanwhile, BJP Youth Wing Minister Amit Agarwal encouraged students’ participation.
School Chairman Dr. Ashok Singh addressed the gathering. Additionally, Principal Vikas Kumar Singh emphasized academic-sports balance.
Competition Highlights
Students participated in shot put and carrom events. Moreover, volleyball and chess competitions drew enthusiastic participation.
The 100m race saw fierce competition among participants. Furthermore, the 800m race tested students’ endurance.
Awards and Recognition
Gandhi House dominated with 2,613 points overall. However, Subhash House secured second position with 2,319 points.
Shamim Akhtar Ansari won the Best Athletic Boy award. Meanwhile, Aarti Verma was named Best Athletic Girl.
Event Management
Sports Teacher Govind Mukhi led the event organization. Moreover, Mrs. Bibha Singh coordinated various activities.
