Indoor Stadium, Training Centers to Enhance Athletic Facilities

JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal chaired a crucial sports committee meeting to expand training facilities across the district.

The District Sports Management Committee reviewed several proposals. Meanwhile, plans for new training centers gained approval.

Athletics training will commence at Potka’s +2 Vidya Niketan. Moreover, football centers will open at three locations.

Training Center Expansion

A roll ball facility at CM School of Excellence awaits approval. “We need proper infrastructure for emerging sports,” stated a senior sports official.

The district currently operates multiple training centers. However, increasing trainee numbers necessitate additional instructors.

Infrastructure Development

The administration seeks eight acres in Chakulia. The proposed multi-purpose stadium will serve local athletes.

Meanwhile, plans for sub-divisional indoor stadiums are advancing. The facilities will boost year-round training opportunities.

Collaborative Approach

Sports associations will help identify new center locations. Moreover, stakeholders will ensure timely project execution.

The district aims to strengthen grassroots sports development. However, infrastructure gaps need immediate attention.
