JAMSHEDPUR – Vehicle owners in Jamshedpur should be cautious about parking in no parking zones, as strict actions are being taken by authorities. On Friday evening, a special operation was conducted around Sakchi’s Jubilee Park area to address the issue of illegal parking, leading to the seizure of several two-wheelers.

Campaign Led by SDO Shatabdi Majumdar

Under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Shatabdi Majumdar, the operation saw active participation from local police. Police officers were seen lifting bikes parked in no-parking zones and loading them onto tractor trolleys for removal. The campaign lasted for several hours, with a focus on creating awareness about the consequences of illegal parking.

Highlighting the rationale behind the drive, SDO Majumdar stated that the initiative was aimed at alleviating the city’s persistent traffic congestion. She urged citizens to utilize designated parking spaces to avoid inconvenience and assured strict penalties for violations.
