JEE Main 2025 Introduces Major Changes in Exam Pattern

Over 22,000 Students from Jharkhand Register for First Session

Key Points:

  • National registration surges past 13.95 lakh, showing significant increase
  • Six Jharkhand cities selected as exam centers for January sessions
  • Section-B removes optional questions, adds negative marking system

JAMSHEDPUR – The National Testing Agency has announced comprehensive changes to the JEE Main 2025 examination pattern, affecting thousands of aspirants nationwide.

Educational experts analyze the impact. “The new format requires different preparation strategies,” noted a senior faculty member.

Meanwhile, preparations continue across examination centers. The authorities have planned two daily shifts for efficient conduct.

Revised Examination Format

The mandatory Section-B questions create challenges. Students must now attempt all five questions without choice.

Moreover, negative marking adds complexity. Each incorrect answer in Section-B leads to mark deduction.

Examination Schedule

Paper 1 spans multiple dates. The BE-BTech examinations will run from January 22 to 29.

Furthermore, Paper 2 focuses on architecture. BArch aspirants will appear for exams on January 30.

Student Preparations

Local coaching centers offer specialized guidance. They help students adapt to the new examination pattern.

Additionally, mock tests incorporate recent changes. These prepare students for the modified format effectively.
