SARAIKELA – Police teams destroyed illegal poppy cultivation across 28.5 acres during Saturday’s anti-narcotics drive.

The operation covered multiple locations. SDPO Chandil led the largest raid in Turu village.

Meanwhile, SSB Matkamdih company joined operations. They supported local police teams.

Operation Details

Officers destroyed 12 acres in Turu. The Chouka police station team led this operation.

Moreover, Dalbhanga outpost cleared 4.5 acres. They targeted illegal farms in Champad village.

Additionally, teams destroyed 5 acres in Chaitanpur. This area falls under Amda outpost jurisdiction.

Joint Enforcement

Circle Officers participated actively. They supported police teams across locations.

Furthermore, Kharsawan police handled local operations. Ichagadh teams cleared 7 acres in Matkamdih.

The drive followed SP’s special directives. Multiple agencies ensured successful implementation.

Administrative Coordination

Local administration officers joined raids. They documented destroyed cultivation areas.

Besides, police station chiefs supervised operations. They ensured complete destruction of illegal crops.

Teams maintained detailed records. These help prevent future illegal cultivation attempts.
