DUMKA – In a devastating road accident near Dasoraidi village on NH 114A, four people lost their lives, and four others sustained serious injuries after an uncontrolled truck rammed into their tempo. The victims, all from Nonihaat village in Hansdiha, were returning from a picnic at Massanjore Dam.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred when the tempo carrying the family was hit by a truck traveling towards West Bengal. The impact was severe, leaving four dead on the spot, including two women. The injured were immediately rushed to Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital.

Critical Injuries and Medical Emergency

Medical professionals reported two of the injured in critical condition. They have been referred to a higher facility for advanced treatment. “The injuries are severe, and immediate specialized care is essential,” stated a hospital representative.

Police Action on the Incident

The Dumka police have seized the truck involved in the collision. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and ensuring support for the affected families. The tragic event has highlighted the need for stricter enforcement of road safety measures on national highways.
