JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration has initiated a strict enforcement drive against illegal parking in major city areas on Friday.

SDM Satabdi Majumdar led the campaign following DC Ananya Mittal’s directives. Moreover, the team deflated tires of vehicles parked in no-parking zones.

Enforcement Actions

Officials imposed fines on several violators during the drive. Additionally, the operation focused on areas near Sakchi DC office and Bistupur Main Road.

The enforcement team included Executive Magistrate Chandrajeet Singh. Furthermore, MVI Suraj Hembram and road safety team members participated in the operation.

Public Appeal

“This is about social responsibility, not fear,” emphasized SDM Majumdar. Meanwhile, she highlighted how illegal parking affects emergency services.

The administration seeks voluntary compliance from citizens. However, continuous monitoring will ensure enforcement of parking regulations.
