BJP Celebrates Atal’s 100th Birth Anniversary in Jamshedpur

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar celebrated former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 100th birth anniversary as Good Governance Day with great reverence.
The event began with floral tributes to Vajpayee’s portrait. District President Sudhansu Ojha presided over the function.
“Vajpayee fulfilled his promise of creating Jharkhand,” said former Chief Minister Champai Soren.
Moreover, the former CM recalled Vajpayee’s historic rally in Dumka in 1999. Meanwhile, he praised the leader’s commitment to regional aspirations.
Statehood Legacy
Furthermore, Champai Soren highlighted Vajpayee’s vision for Jharkhand’s development. The former PM had respected the state’s movement leaders.
In addition, BJP District President Sudhansu Ojha termed Vajpayee as ‘Ajatshatru’. The party is celebrating his centenary year across all levels.

On the other hand, all 28 divisional units organized commemorative events. Local leaders paid tributes at booth-level programs.
Besides, senior party workers like Devendra Singh and Abhay Singh attended the main function. Hundreds of activists participated in the celebrations.
