Grand Procession and Festivities Planned for Temple’s Establishment Day

JAMSHEDPUR – Shri Shri Dakshineshwari Kali Temple Committee of East Plant Basti convened a meeting under the chairmanship of Galwinder Singh Gwale to plan the temple’s first establishment day on January 18. The meeting unanimously decided on a grand celebration featuring various religious and cultural activities.

Procession and Rituals to Mark the Day

The celebration will begin with a grand Kalash Yatra starting from the temple premises to Domuhani in the morning. Hundreds of male and female devotees are expected to participate. Water collected in the Kalash from Domuhani will be used for the ceremonial bathing of Dakshineshwari Kali Ma. After the ritualistic bath, the deity will be adorned magnificently, followed by traditional worship performed by priests.

The festivities will also include the distribution of Mahaprasad to all attendees, enhancing the communal spirit of the event.

Evening Bhajan Sandhya

In the evening, a Bhajan Sandhya will be organized, where local artists will present devotional songs, creating a spiritual ambiance for devotees.

Committee Members in Attendance

The meeting saw the participation of key members, including Kamlesh Rai, Chhotu Pal, Umashankar Bera, Harishchandra Prasad, Arun Prasad, Sujit, and Ajit, among others. President Gwale emphasized the significance of the day and invited devotees to join in large numbers.
