Champai Soren Demands Immediate Arrest of Sonu Sardar’s Killers

GAMHARIA – Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and local MLA Champai Soren met with the grieving family of Sonu Sardar, who was brutally shot dead late Friday night. Soren visited the family in Yashpur village on Monday to console them and expressed his deep condolences.

Concerns Over Law and Order

During his visit, Champai Soren described Sonu Sardar, husband of Yashpur Panchayat Mukhiya Parvati Sardar and president of the District Para Teachers’ Association, as a kind-hearted social worker. He condemned the killing, stating, “This murder highlights the deteriorating law and order in the state.”

Soren expressed concern over the delay in arresting the culprits. He urged the district police to expedite the investigation and ensure justice for the bereaved family.

The Incident and Police Investigation

Sonu Sardar was shot dead by unidentified assailants while returning from a program late Friday night. The shocking incident has triggered widespread concern among residents.

Although the police claim to have made progress in the investigation, the killers remain at large. Soren emphasized the need for swift action, demanding the immediate arrest of those responsible.

Support for the Family

Champai Soren assured the grieving family of his full support during this difficult time. Key attendees included BT Das and Parmeshwar Pradhan, who also stood in solidarity with the family.
